1/2-3/4cupmilkor milk substitute (start with lesser amount and if you need to thin your batter add more)
1/2cupsweet potatocooked and pureed
1teaspoonraw honeyor maple syrup
1/2teaspoonvanilla extract
1/8teaspooncinnamonadd more or less to taste
dashnutmeg
dashsea salt
4-6piecesbread(you can add more nutrition here by making your own bread, or for a lower carb version you can use a paleo bread recipe, or if you are short on time--like I was--use what you have!)
Instructions
Whisk the wet ingredients together until combined. Batter should be a thinner consistency, if it isn't then add more milk. Sprinkle in the cinnamon and add a dash of salt. Soak each piece of bread in the batter for a few minutes on each side. In a frying pan, heat up a little ghee, butter or coconut oil (

Cook each side for about 4 minutes on medium/low heat until golden brown.
