Eczema Home Remedies
A simple holistic plan to say goodbye to eczemaHi, I’m Heather.
I help families incorporate holistic health and nutrition practices into their everyday lives for better health.
Helping families move towards holistic living is what I love to do, and that passion comes from healing my own family with real food and plant medicine.
My daughter suffered from eczema when she was 2 years old. The eczema appeared on her face as red, angry patches. Her mood during this time was irritable and full of tantrums. It was so hard to watch her suffer both inside and outside.
Sound familiar?
To heal my daughter (pictured to the right with an eczema flare) I had to combine my graduate education in holistic health and nutrition, with my years of research in functional and herbal medicine. Add to that my own personal experience with my daughter’s eczema and I finally had the tools I needed to heal her irritated skin from the inside out.
I’ve developed a 5-step holistic approach to healing eczema. To create this approach I had to find the REAL root causes of eczema and heal those first.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the skin is a reflection of what’s going on INSIDE the body. Once the inside is healed, the skin will return to its natural state.
I helped my daughter avoid steroids, prescription creams and sleepless nights with my holsitic approach. Here she is after 2 months on our holistic healing plan. Not only did her skin heal, but also her sleep improved, her dry lips healed, and irritable moods and tantrums stopped. My holistic plan works for both children and adults.
