1/4 cup coconut milk yogurt (you can buy this at the store or make your own!)
1/2 cup cooked quinoa or brown rice
1 small apple, chopped into small chunks and steamed (peel it if you are worried about choking OR use applesauce 1/2 cup)
Mix and serve.
Variations: Add fresh berries, chopped raw nuts and seeds (when your child is older and starts eating them), nutitional yeast, flax oil, etc. This breakfast serves as a great base for many taste sensations and it also hides a lot of “good for you” boosters like flax oil.
